Will the Nomad Lock Arm fit my golf cart?
The Lock Arm is designed to fit most golf carts with an accessible roof-support or frame post. Windshields, enclosures, mirrors, and other accessories can affect placement, so check that your cart has a clear mounting location before ordering.
Do I need to drill into my golf cart?
No. The Lock Arm clamps onto the cart and does not require drilling, permanent wiring, or permanent changes to the cart.
How secure is the Lock Arm while driving?
The Lock Arm is designed to hold Nomad firmly in position during normal golf cart driving, including turns, bumps, and typical cart-path conditions. Always make sure every locking point is fully tightened before driving.
Does Nomad replace my golf cart soundbar?
It can. Nomad has four built-in speakers and two passive radiators, so no additional sound system is required. You can also send audio over Bluetooth to an existing cart soundbar or compatible Bluetooth speaker system.
Can I stream live sports and entertainment apps?
Yes. Connect Nomad to Wi-Fi or your phone’s mobile hotspot to stream sports, highlights, music, podcasts, YouTube, and other supported apps.
Does Nomad have CarPlay?
Yes. Nomad supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for compatible music apps, maps, calls, messages, voice control, and other supported features.
Is the steering-wheel remote included?
The steering-wheel remote is an optional upgrade. It lets you adjust volume and control playback from the driver’s seat without reaching over to Nomad.
Do I need the vehicle hardwire kit?
No. Nomad has a built-in rechargeable battery and can also be charged with USB-C. The optional hardwire kit is best for personal carts when you want continuous vehicle power.
Is Nomad waterproof?
Nomad is designed for outdoor use and water exposure. The optional Magnetic Battery is not waterproof and should be kept protected from rain and direct water exposure.
Can I remove Nomad when the round is over?
Yes. The Lock Arm makes Nomad easy to remove in seconds, so you can take it home, store it securely, or use it away from the golf cart.
