Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Nomad is waterproof and built for wet areas like the shower. Mount it with the included adhesive Wall/Shower Mount and enjoy music, shows, sports, and more while you get ready. Its loud speakers are tuned to cut through shower noise.
No. Nomad has a built-in rechargeable battery, so it runs without being plugged in. For even more playtime, add a Magnetic Battery: it snaps on in seconds and adds up to 5 extra hours, so you can charge it outside the shower and never have to take Nomad down.
Yes. Pair your phone over Bluetooth and use Nomad's powerful 4-speaker audio for music, podcasts, and calls. Because Nomad is a standalone Android tablet, you can also stream apps and live TV directly on it, no phone required.
Yes. Add the Nomad Lock Arm to mount Nomad to most golf carts and compatible UTVs in about 30 seconds, with no drilling, wiring, or permanent changes. You can also use the Cup Holder Mount for a quick, portable setup.
It depends on where you'll use Nomad most:
- Wall/Shower Mount (included): showers, bathrooms, kitchens, and garages.
- Flex Strap Mount: poles, rails, decks, and car headrests, with no drilling.
- Cup Holder Mount: cars, boats, golf carts, and RVs.
- Nomad Lock Arm: a rock-solid golf cart setup.
- SeaSucker Mount: boats, glass, and other smooth surfaces.
The Magnetic Battery snaps onto the back of Nomad and powers it instantly, adding up to 5 extra hours of playtime. Charge it outside the shower, snap it back on, and Nomad keeps playing without being unplugged, unmounted, or moved. Choose 2 batteries to always keep one charged.
Wipe Nomad with a soft, damp cloth, and use a little mild soap for soap scum or water spots. Dry the screen with a microfiber cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, and scrubbing pads, which can damage the anti-glare screen.
