“Holy smokes. This thing is amazing.”
I was a little skeptical of this item considering I had never heard of the company or the product and really couldn’t find reviews anywhere for it besides directly from the company.
But I got the device and holy smokes. This thing is amazing.
The device is very hefty and quality feeling. Doesn’t feel cheap and hollow.
The display is very responsive and large with good viewing angles and color quality. This was a big concern for me that it would be a terrible quality display.
The speakers shocked me the most. I have portable speakers from Bose, Sonos and Bang & Olufsen and this device seriously challenges the sound quality of those devices hands down. Very clear and for its size, good punchy bass.
Battery life I haven’t tested yet fully but I’ve been streaming music on it for 30 minutes with the display on and it only consumed about 8% battery.
It does come with Google Play services and Play store with full app support.
The CarPlay feature works perfectly as expected. I haven’t tested Android Auto as I don’t own an Android device.
The wall mount is perfect. Just stuck it in my shower and easily connects and disconnects from the mount.
If you have local music, there is an SD card slot as well as USB-C for easy charging.
YouTube using the YouTube app worked perfectly with no video stutter or playback issues.
Overall, I couldn’t be more pleased. This is going to be my main travel device now.
