Is this better than the wall mount?
It depends on the setup. The wall mount is better for a dedicated permanent spot. The Flex Strap Mount is better when you want to move Nomad around or use it temporarily.
Is this the right mount for golf carts or boats?
Usually, no. For golf carts, we recommend a more secure dedicated golf cart mount. For boats, a fixed or clamp-style mount is usually a better choice depending on the setup.
